a raven, for my final project, in which the raven symbolizes DEATH.
(this one says: memento mori.)

tried to get this very special purplish-bluish shimmer on its feathers~ dunno if one can see it very well.

tell me what you think, what you don't like and what you like, if there's something one could like about it xD

I love it, but personally would have liked to see it whitout the lettering. But that is probaly just me. I see you have used aacryllics, you should be able to quite easy lay on some blues and greens to lift the black. And maaybe the light space with the writing could be darkened, but hey that is only how I see it. I think you can be proud of this work :-)

thanks for your comment! well, the thing with the lettering and the space that could be darkened is, like you said, a personal opinion :) but without the lettering it would look quite empty i think...

My opinion is only on of many, so please don't take it personally, I think its a wonderful piece of work, so you go ahead and do some mor. Luckily we are all different, and thats what makes it so great to be part of a thing like dA, as you get a lot of input on your work :-)
